A diagnosis of dementia brings with it many changes and challenges for the person with dementia and those who care for them. To support family members and professional carers get a better level of understanding and knowledge, Dementia Australia, being Australia’s Dementia Experts offer a variety of workshops on dementia.
Our dementia workshops will equip you with increased knowledge about dementia and the impacts on lifestyles, functional abilities and behaviours. You will also learn how to provide support, strategies and techniques that may assist in improving independence and maintaining quality of life.
